Darla is a senior from Bristol, Conn., majoring in journalism. She has worked as a reporter, copy editor, campus editor, managing editor and now editor-in-chief at The Kansan. She has also worked as a reporting intern for several other daily newspapers, including The Kansas City Star. In the summer of 2007, she traveled to South Korea and Japan to learn about culture and media through the Scripps Howard Foundation.
