Helen Mubarak is a Shawnee junior majoring in Journalism and Spanish. She has worked for The Kansan for four semesters as a special sections writer, correspondent, designer and columnist, in chronological order. She is a designer for Fall 2009. Helen has also freelanced for The Lawrence Journal-World.
