Ian Cummings is a graduate student from Kansas City. Now on his fourth semester at the Kansan, he has previously served as assignment editor and reporter, and has also written for the Kansas City Star. He graduated from the University in 2006 as an anthropology major and spent three years traveling in Latin America before returning to practice journalism.
