Jesse Brown

Jesse was born in Lee’s Summit, Mo., and attended the Longview Campus of the Metropolitan Community Colleges. He said he began his collegiate studies with no clue of what he wanted to do, but after working for Longview Current, he learned to really love writing and reporting and eventually became an editor for the paper. Jesse seeks to continue his journalism experience at KU.
