Trimble is a senior from Columbus, and has submitted stories to the Kansan in the past, but her first journalism experience was this past summer as an intern at Produce Merchandising magazine. She wrote/uploaded daily news briefs to the Web, changed material on the Web site, wrote stories for the magazine and sent out a bi-weekly enewsletter. Her areas of interest include: writing, reading, music and movies. She enjoys listening and reading a variety of things. She loves reading true crime and classic novels. She recently finished "Catch 22" and "Requiem for a Dream." Her career aspirations include working for the Boston Globe and writing band and album reviews for Spin.
