Jesse is a senior from Columbus majoring in journalism and English. This is her second semester on The Kansan. Prior to this semester Jesse was the politics and activism reporter and held a summer internship position at Produce Merchandising magazine in Kansas City, Kan. Her work for the magazine consisted of writing stories for the magazine and uploading stories to the web. Currently, she works as the Student Life campus editor and as a copy editor for The Kansan. Post graduation in May, Jesse would like to work as a reporter in the Midwest and anticipates working in Boston in the future. Aside from journalism, Jesse's interests include reading classic novels, playing with her polydactyl cat Loki and exercising, not only her first, but her second amendment rights.
