Jessica is from Bakersfield, Calif., and graduated from high school in Colorado Springs. She worked on her high school yearbook staff and news television program. At KU, she has been a sports anchor and reporter for KUJH-TV News. She currently serves as news anchor and reporter for KUJH-TV. Her broadcast work is online at http://tv.ku.edu/profile/Jessica-Wicks/. She is happy to cross the barrier between print and broadcast to get the best of both worlds. After she graduates in May 2008, she hopes to get a job in international media before getting into a good law school to study sports and entertainment law.
