Justin Leverett is a Carbondale, Illinois, senior studying journalism and French. He worked at the Kansan as a copy editor in spring 2009 and reports on the Town & Gown beat this fall. He is also a DJ for the student-run radio station, KJHK, a reporter for its radio news magazine As Heard From the Hill, and president of the Society of Professional Journalists, Kansas chapter. After graduating, Justin hopes to travel to far-off places and see amazing things for a year before returning to graduate school. In his free time, Justin tells his hall-mates what to cook for dinner.
