Katie is a sophomore from Lincoln, Neb., majoring in journalism and English. This is her third semester on The Kansan. She has been a special sections correspondent and a columnist, and is the opinion editor this semester. She hopes to attend graduate school in the future, presumably because she just can't get enough of standardized testing.
