Kayla is a junior from Neodesha majoring in journalism. Kayla is the correspondents editor. This is her first semester on The Kansan staff. Kayla first studied journalism at Butler Community College before coming to the University of Kansas. While attending Butler she served as the Editor of the Grizzly Magazine. She was named the Kansas Association of Collegiate Press Journalist of the Year in 2011.
