Libby Napoli is a senior from Denver. She is majoring in journalism with a minor in art history. This is her first semester working for The Kansan, as a photographer. Libby is a member of Sigma Kappa sorority. She loves to travel and studied abroad in Italy for the Spring 2008 semester. Libby will graduate in May and plans to work in advertising.

The work will be amongst other art created by cancer patients that will be shown at The Spencer Museum of Art for the weekend's Relay For Life. Tallcheif has fully recovered.

There is a lot of construction around Allen Fieldhouse, but Jayhawk fans need not worry. The construction is an expansion of the Wagnor Student Athlete Center. The Associate Athletics Director for Student Support, Paul Buskirk, insists that the development will help student athletes to succeed academically and athletically.

Wichita graduate student Vanessa Sanburn hopes to be elected for the USD 497 School Board. Sanburn has a six year-old daughter who attends Woodlawn Elementary and affectionately helps her mother in the campaign. The primary elections are upcoming on March 3 and the general elections are on April 7.

Overland Park senior Brittany Vaughn lives with three boys, Michael Mitchelson, Jake Pfannenstiel and the one who doesn’t pay rent, Tuxedo. Vaughn deals with her pet allergies year-round to be able to keep Tuxedo, her 3-year-old black and white cat.
