Melissa is a senior from Joliet, Ill. She’s working on a double major in journalism and English and a French minor, and is quite amazed that she’s still on track to graduate in May 2010. In the past, she’s been a correspondent and copy editor for The Kansan, and is currently a copy chief. When not working or doing homework, she enjoys reading trashy fiction — the sort that would make most English professors cringe.
