Mia is a senior at the University. This is her fourth semester working for the University Daily Kansan and will be a photographer on staff this spring. She is majoring in journalism and English with an emphasis in creative writing. Mia aspires to capture the world around us in stunning photographs, write a novel and one day work as page for NBC.

Students are having to adjust to construction on Robinson Field, which leaves only about half of the field open for recreation. Part of the field's underground steam tunnel behind Watkins Memorial Health Center began to leak during the recent wet weather. Workers will have to re-waterproof the 700-foot segment of the tunnel, crowding HSES classes that practice on its field.
