Pat Eland is a Hoxie, KS sophomore majoring in journalism and minoring in leadership. He is in his first semester on the Kansan staff as an intramural sports writer. His career goal is to get a sports writing position at a major magazine. He also is an assistant football coach at Bishop-Seabury Academy this year.
