Rachel is a junior from Towanda majoring in journalism and minoring in English. This is her first semester on staff with The Kansan, and she reports on both crime on campus and in the Lawrence area. She focuses her studies on TV broadcasting, although she appreciates all areas of journalism. She interned at KAKE-TV in the summer of 2011.
