Shauna Blackmon is a senior from Olathe majoring in journalism. This is her fifth semester on The Kansan. Previous reporting jobs include opinion writer, associate opinion editor and reporter for the Kansan, as well as Blue Sky Green Earth and the Fort Leavenworth Post. One day she hopes to be a reporter in the Middle East.
