Ehren Schmiedeler, a junior from Kansas City, Kan., said this poster’s vivid colors caught his eye. Schmiedeler said he had been to the sale before and bought a “Cool Hand Luke” poster when he stopped by last year.

Donovan Oldham, a senior from Kansas City, Kan., bought his Japan poster in anticipation of an upcoming trip to Tokyo with his brother, who won the vacation in a contest. Oldham said that he was interested in different cultures and traveling and studied in Paris last summer.

Amy Adams, a freshman from Fort Worth, Texas, got her poster after seeing a similar one in her friend’s room. She said that she liked the contrast between black and white and color in the photos.

Meghan Lee, a senior from Olathe, bought this small poster for her mother. “We’re all big coffee drinkers in our family,” Lee said. She said that she always bought posters on campus and thought they were an inexpensive and fun way to decorate.

Nick Baker, a freshman from Dallas, said he wanted to spruce up the walls in his fraternity with this “Old School” poster. Baker said that Will Ferrell’s character was his favorite in the film.

Aaron Pope, a sophomore from Topeka, bought a “Dark Knight Rises” poster to decorate his dorm room. Pope said that “The Dark Knight” was his favorite movie and he hoped “The Dark Knight Rises” would be just as good.
