Student awarded $250 Integrity scholarship

Emily D. Schuster has been awarded a scholarship based on her essay detailing what integrity means to her.

Emily Schuster, Larned sophomore, won an Integrity scholarship from the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

NSCS gave Schuster a $250 scholarship for her essay on what integrity meant to her.

Wednesday, April 9 is designated as national “I Stand for Integrity” day for all NSCS chapters.

NSCS is a national honors organization that is exclusively for freshmen and sophomores. It was started in 1994 at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. A KU chapter was started in 1999.
