Very good questions posed, most were in consideration of the entire University and would benefit all students if the issues were addressed. It is important to think about how everyone is affected on campus and how to improve conditions for a broader demographic. Those interested in this philosophy of changing campus life to serve the students and not making them servants to the University, check out Students of Liberty. We are as sick as you are of the business as usual that goes on with complete disregard to academics and improving our status as a school of higher learning. We are tired of Senate approving fees that are not allowed for by campus rules and regulations. Let's get the campus working for us.
I appreciate your concern, BaneMaler, but how much do you really know about how Senate operates? A lot goes on that is disappointing, and the general attitude in regards to how Senate's actions can affect the student body needs to change, but just saying that without knowing how to do it or why there is a problem will not make a difference.
Before you go plugging a coalition, since I'm assuming you are either Adam Wood, Eric Hyde, or one of their friends, look into how they want to do it. I've seen their fliers, and I do like the goals they have. My only concern is that they are, with exception to Eric seeking funding for an event once, completely new to Senate, and may not understand how to create all of this change they champion.
