Michaela Bloman and Kent Szlanderbach, Wichita freshmen, had the same taste in music long before they knew each other, and this was the reason they eventually met.

In high school, Michaela’s friend from algebra class let her download music from her computer that she had downloaded from Szlanderbach’s computer. When Michaela kept asking to do it, her friend just referred her to Szlanderbach so that she no longer had to be the middleman. They started talking online and going to local independent-rock shows. “It was pretty clear that we should start dating,” Szanderbach said.
The couple came to the University together, and they have been dating for three years.
