What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Dennis Haskins, actor, best known as Mr. Belding on Saved by the Bell: People who chew with their mouths full.
Jonah Neff, Topeka freshman: Animal abuse. Animals don’t have a voice, and it’s unfortunate when people use them as an outlet for anger.
If you could see anyone in concert, dead or alive, who would it be?
D.H.: The Beatles, because that was my generation and they changed the world.
J.N.: Rage Against the Machine, because I like their political outlook and I grew up listening to them.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
D.H.: I get to make a living doing what I love to do, and that is to act.
J.N.: I work at Budweiser, driving a forklift, and I like it when I get off early.
What’s your favorite childhood memory?
D.H.: Going to Daytona Beach, Fla., with my family. They used to have these cars made of cardboard that you could drive up and down the beach that were a lot of fun.
J.N.: Going to Disneyland and seeing the ocean in California.
What are you most inspired by?
D.H.: I met someone in an autograph line in my hometown last year. She told me that she just wanted to meet me because she had two years to live. People like her inspire me, because they’re finding a way to live and do things with a smile.
J.N. My past inspires me, because the things that I’ve encountered in life have made me into a better person and inspired me to push on.
