The point is not that he screwed up, it's that he screwed up, then said he didn't care.
If someone screws up at any job, let's say a restaurant, their boss will be unhappy. If the employee then says that he's, "not losing any sleep over it," then he would be fired immediately.
On top of that, if I was his boss, I would call him a worthless, arrogant, piece of trash. Oh, wait... I AM Marchiony's boss!

So exactly how many millions of dollors of other peoples money does Jim Marchiony have to waste before he can't sleep? What a scumbag.

"No increase will be needed."
Stop using Orwellian Double-speak. If the old fee is temporary, and then you extend it's life, it is a fee increase. Deal with it and tell people the truth.

You seem to be forgetting the fact that a vast majority of students don't take advantage of it. "we would have ticket prices equivilant to Texas." Heaven forbid we make the people GOING to the games PAY for the games.
On Student athletes focus on Students of Liberty, yet endorse United Students

By the way, the title of this article is incorrect. Both United Students and Connect are effectively incumbents. Students of Liberty is the only change that people can vote for.

I think everyone is forgetting about Students of Liberty. By that I don't mean the voters are forgetting about them (check out the poll above), just the candidates from other coalitions playing their childish games, insulting each other under anonymous screen names.
The Kansan specifically mentioned that Connect should have a policy regarding gifts from special interests (i.e. The Athletic Department). They failed to mention, however, that this is one of our main platform issues.
United Students should stop complaining about the bias in the Kansan. If your platform could stand on its own two feet, you wouldn't be attacking the media or making personal attacks.

Hey guys, you need to stop whining about personal attacks. If someone calls another person a liar or a dick, that would be a personal attack. That has not happened.
I will continue to say exactly what I believe and so will every one of the senators from Students of Liberty. This is the only way to have open and honest debate.
I said this platform issue is (in a nutshell) stupid, and a waste of time.
I think a lot of students hold this view and there's nothing wrong with it.

Yeah, it seems like everything that United Students comes from something that either someone else came up with, or is already happening.

I apologize in advance, as I will be frank.
I think this may possibly be the dumbest platform issue I've seen this year. I could probably count a hundred things on this campus that are more important than this. I never thought I'd say this, but that stupid pool that students shouldn't pay for is more important than this. In fact, I would rather hand Lew Perkins a $20 bill than waste my time with this, well, waste of time.
“The amount of paper you use to enroll is almost an environmental issue,”
What paper? What the hell are you talking about? I print ONE piece of paper, my schedule.
“We want to create a one-stop shop for enrollment,”
What are you guys on? Do I currently have to shop around?
Also, I admit that the Enroll & Pay site is a little convoluted, however if someone can't figure it out by sitting down and working with it for ten minutes, do we really want them here? If you can't enroll, how the hell are you going to graduate?
Seriously, I'm starting to think United Students isn't even trying, or just thinks that KU students are morons.

To clarify, I definitely do think they are achieving something, just not competentlya enough.
Also, I will not vote for Barr because he is a Libertarian. I am, in fact, a Republican. I will not vote for John McCain however and I also support Chuck Baldwin for President.
