Solid blog Keefer. I'm enjoying reading these and the bowl picks. I had no idea you were actually cheering for Arizona when you were at that game.

College = Not High School.

Caleb, I would agree that high school letter jackets should never be worn at a college campus under any circumstance. But you go over the line when saying no one should wear high school t-shirts. We're college kids. We're supposed to save money in any way. If the shirt fits, I say wear it. I'll admit. I still have about three or four high school shirts I still wear. And I honestly still like the way they look. But I do understand your point.

A Chance encounter with Chance...

Wow, that is a pretty cool story. Chance kind of reminds me of the guy from "Into the Wild," except he's taking a much safer route for his travels. What a way to live. He must be quite the charmer if he can get all that free food and money and drink.

Or we can do it in the club in the back of the V.I.P. Ha, I could probably go on forever with the Luda lyrics. Great song. But solid blog as well. Fantasy sports are so in that it's ridiculous. I think Fox Sports still has that Sunday morning show where all they do is talk about fantasy football for 30 minutes. A little note though. Fantasy football is not popular for everyone. Stephen A. Smith wrote a colum, a terrible one obviously since it was by him, about how blacks don't play fantasy football. It was pretty interesting.

I agree that the photos were a little out of control this year. A few of them probably shouldn't have run. But I think the outcry has been a tad bit harsh. The students who are against these pictures at historic locations or memorial locations and such are the same students who scream "Rip his (expletive) head off" at Memorial Stadium, a memorial for everyone who died in WWI.

Chris, good call on doing something on Pachamama's. I've never been there but have always wanted to go. Here's a little FYI about Pachamama's. It was Russell Robinson's favorite restaurant in Lawrence.

A Yummy Occasion

Not a huge fan of Yummy's. The reason you go out to an ice cream place is because you want a professional, someone else, to make your ice cream. I feel like I could make the ice cream treats they have at Yummy's at home.

Keefer, good call on this article. You probably saw it, but the KC Star had a graphic last week that also featured a cupcake for a KU story. That one got me mad. I would say my favorite overused cliche in sports has got to be -- they took the lead and never looked back.

Hey Case, great call on the Thunder being a terrible nick name. It's going to be the worst in the NBA by far. Here's an idea for a name I heard on the radio. Instead of going by Oklahoma City then some nickname. The team should be called The Oklahoma "City." Get it, City would be its nickname. I think it would be pretty sweet. Also, I actually like the name Pacer. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the Indy 500. A Pacer is the pace car -- at least I think that's what it means.

Good Free Stuff

Wow, I definitely enjoy hearing about anything that has to do with cheap or free stuff. THere's an organization called FreeCycle that is in every big city basically, including Lawrence. People can post stuff on here that they are giving away for free.
