Are you seriously citing a study from 2001? You can't possibly think that holds any water at all. Also, to echo what the first poster said, your distrust of your fellow man sounds like a personal problem which I find offense with as a trained responsible gun owner. Lastly, what makes you think a policy is going to keep people from bringing guns on campus? Wasn't VT's campus supposedly gun free? Worked out great for them, huh? Maybe with a legally concealed weapon, one responsible gun owner could stop the carnage with one shot. Or just wait 15 minutes for the cops.
For the record, I know several conceal carry licensed people who conceal carry on campus right now despite the ban, so your little stickers (and the policy behind them) are clearly ineffective.
